This would be a huge upgrade from her last UWS apartment
Comedian and actress Amy Schumer has seriously upgraded her Upper West Side living arrangements, reportedly purchasing a 4,500-square-foot penthouse that was asking $12.15 million.
The Real Deal reports that “sources familiar with the deal” have disclosed the Trainwreck actress to be the new owner of the five-bedroom duplex at 190 Riverside Drive. If Schumer did indeed land the place as her new pad, she got it for a pretty good price, considering the home once wanted as much as $18.9 million.
There aren’t much by way of photos for the penthouse but according to the floorplan, there is a huge living and dining room, a media room, and a massive wraparound terrace. As per its listing description, other details include 11-foot coffered glass ceilings, bi-fold glass doors, and a custom chef’s kitchen.
Schumer’s last Upper West Side home, not nearly as expansive, is still on the market asking $1.625 million. It offers one-bedroom, one-and-a half bathrooms, two wood-burning fireplaces, and built-in bookshelves.
