Actress Paulette Goddard once resided in the apartment when it was just a one-bedroom unit
The former Midtown apartment of 1940s Hollywood screen star and Broadway dancer Paulette Goddard (who was married to Charlie Chaplin for a brief period) is now on the market for $2.39 million, reports the New York Post.
The former one-bedroom apartment at 320 East 57th Street has since been redesigned into a 1,650-square-foot duplex penthouse, after being combined with an upstairs unit. The bright and airy space now boasts two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a pair of functioning fireplaces, a modern chef’s kitchen, and perhaps the best feature of all, a huge wraparound terrace.
Goddard isn’t the only big name to once have occupied the abode. Yolanda Kluge Mann, once the wife of billionaire John W. Kluge (once the wealthiest man in the United States), previously owned the unit as well.
