The one-bedroom, one-bathroom co-op wants $990,000
Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.
Located in a building that was designed by the same architects that designed the United Nations Headquarters nearby, this sleek one-bedroom apartment at 860 United Nations Plaza comes with expansive views of the city, and is now on the market for $990,000. The apartment was recently renovated and features high end appliances in the kitchen, quartz countertops, wide plank oak flooring throughout the apartment, and marble flooring.
Living at the UN Plaza, as these residences are known, has its advantages of course, especially in the amenities department. They include four sundecks, a library, laundry in the building, a recreation room with golf and ping pong, and apparently, “the longest private driveway in New York City.” The downside? The maintenance costs at $2,392 per month are rather steep.
