It’s officially fall, and in New York City that means developments of all stripes will be hitting the market with force. Just this week, starchitect Renzo Piano’s Hudson Square condo launched sales with studios priced from just under $1 million. On its tail comes the condos of 324 Twenty, a smaller development not designed by a starchitect where condos are asking from $1.2 million. While their starting price tags are higher than their notable brethren’s, the apartments are also way larger than said studios. The seven-apartment building contains only two- and three-bedroom homes, making it an ideal fit for families.
Two apartments at 324 Twenty are now on the market—the 3BR, 2BA Residence 2E asking $1.24 million, and the slightly larger 3BR, 2BA Residence 2W asking $1.265 million. Apartments in the building that have yet to hit the market include 1,600-plus-square-foot garden duplexes, and 1,775-square-foot three-bedroom penthouses with large private terraces.
All condos in the building come with a private outdoor space, the new amenity du jour in one-off small development projects. The apartments also come with Bosch washers and dryers; kitchens with Caeserstone countertops, polished chrome fittings, and white oak butcher block islands; bathrooms with polished Carrara marble flooring; and extra storage space that’s included in the cost of each condo.
A press release for the new development says it falls within Greenwood Heights, “still a bit of a secret jewel” in Brooklyn that is, surprisingly, not neighborhood born of brokerspeak.
