Once complete, the building will be home to 83 high-end apartments beginning at $2.45 million
Construction on Extell’s new Upper East Side tower, The Kent at 200 East 95th Street, is progressing along as planned, transforming what was once two small walk-up buildings into the 23-story condo building that will develop into 83 luxury units ranging in size from two- to five bedrooms with square footages between 1,285 to a sweeping 5,000+ square feet of space.
Construction site photographer Field Condition was around to snap a few pictures of the Beyer Blinder Belle-designed building in its relatively early development stage. The facade will eventually be comprised of limestone, brick, and metal while interiors will be designed by Champalimaud and will “echo the classic elegance and grandeur of the Upper East Side,” says its press release. Sales launched for some of the apartments back in May with prices beginning at $2.45 million. At the moment, six residences are still listed and the highest ask is $8.279 million for a five-bedroom.
