If you don’t mind living vertically, this cute one-bedroom has some charming features

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

This unusual Upper East Side 1-bedroom triplex may not be for everyone, but if you don’t mind living vertically, the $699,000 apartment has some nice things going for it.

The floor plan here will either be a selling point or a deal breaker: It has the classic “bedroom-and-bathroom-are-on-different-floors” problem. The garden level has the living room; the mezzanine has the kitchen, “dining foyer,” and bathroom; and the top level holds the bedroom.

The 650-square-foot co-op is fully renovated, with custom cabinetry, high-end appliances, and a (relatively) huge walk-closet designed by California Closets. And though the place does not appear to be flooded with light, it does come with a substantial private garden, which is easily the highlight of the home (weather permitting).

Monthly maintenance is on the more reasonable end at $816 a month, and the building’s got plenty of amenities, including a gym and laundry room. (But seriously, that garden, though.)
