After just a little more than a month, the huge condo is back and seeking a new buyer
When political commentator Keith Olbermann listed his 1,750-square-foot two-bedroom apartment within Trump Palace, he made sure that his reasons for selling were loud and clear. “I can’t stand to live in a Trump building anymore,” he explained in a Washington Post piece; he could no longer tolerate “the degree to which the very name ‘Trump’ has degraded the public discourse and the nation itself.”
Olbermann got his wish and broke free of the condo at 200 East 69th Street, but he took a hit when he sold the home for $3.8 million, $400,000 less than what he purchased it for in 2007. However, for him, the loss was well worth the tradeoff.

The apartment was picked up by a LLC named Emerita Associated USA but now, after about a month, they too are looking to rid themselves of the home, this time for the asking price of $3.9 million (Olbermann’s original ask), reports Luxury Listings NYC.
But this time, the reasons for the sale have nothing to do with the Republican presidential nominee and his antics. The buyer bought the place to use as a pied-à-terre but decided he wanted something near Central Park instead.
The apartment itself is pretty nice. It has plenty of sunlight and features two-and-a-half bathrooms, a “tranquil master suite,” chef’s kitchen, and three separate outdoor spaces that give way to city views. A buyer would just have to be okay with living in a building emblazoned with Trump’s name.
