Laura Englander Levin originally listed her co-op for $15.5 million, but it didn’t fetch that much
Back in April, Laura Englander Levin, Manhattan radiologist and daughter of billionaire hedge fund manager Israel Englander (he of the $71.3 million, 740 Park Avenue co-op purchase), put her swanky Park Avenue co-op on the market. The good news is that she’s has found a buyer; the bad news, The Real Deal reports, is that they’ll be getting the place for $2 million less than she paid for it in 2014. The market is fickle for us all.
So what will the new owner be getting for the bargain price of $13.5 million, down from $15.5 million? According to the listing from Douglas Elliman, the unit — 10E at J.E.R.-Carpenter-designed 960 Park Avenue—comes with five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a gym, and assorted sun-drenched living spaces. Like all the finest things in life, it is accessible by private elevator.
